In the sweltering summer of 2026, the RaiseAgain Cup CNC Cutting Bed Nesting Process Design Competition, sponsored by Tianjin RaiseAgain Co., Ltd. and hosted by the China Sewing Machinery Association, kicked off successively in Changzhou and Guangzhou. As the competition’s primary technical sponsor and supplier of both hardware and software equipment, RaiseAgain provided the GetonAgain Garment CAD V2024.1 for the event. Backed by its stable and outstanding performance, the system guaranteed impartiality and high standards throughout the entire contest.
The Changzhou leg opened first at Changzhou Vocational Institute of Textile on June 27, drawing over 75 student participants who competed head-to-head in a rigorous test of their knowledge and technical capabilities.
The Guangzhou stop followed at Guangzhou Industry & Trade Technician College on July 4. More than 120 students from Guangdong province competed across two categories: embroidery machine pattern design and CNC cutting bed nesting process design. Chen Ji, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the China Sewing Machinery Association, attended the event in person to preside over the competition and cheer on all contestants.
All contests adopted hands-on practical assessments. Competition questions were tailored to align with real-world industry scenarios while matching students’ technical proficiency levels. They challenged participants’ theoretical foundations as well as their comprehensive skills including on-site problem-solving and innovative thinking. The contestants delivered an overall outstanding performance, with many stating that the competition offered valuable guidance for upgrading their professional skills and better preparing them for future industry roles.
The smooth running of this events marks a key initiative by RaiseAgain to advance industry-education integration. By building a professional stage for college students to showcase their technical expertise, the company not only identifies and cultivates outstanding talent for the sewing machinery sector, but also demonstrates its strong commitment to and proactive efforts in nurturing skilled technical professionals for the industry.
